Cocktail hour is where Sun Ranch really comes to life. Guests can wander through the beautifully designed outdoor spaces while enjoying drinks and canapés, taking in the incredible views and relaxed atmosphere. Reception Options
Sun Ranch offers three reception options depending on your guest numbers and the style of celebration you're planning.
The Lawn is an outdoor reception space located beside the Rambler Longhouse. It's best suited to intimate celebrations of up to 50 standing guests and is ideal for cocktail-style receptions, welcome parties or relaxed post-wedding gatherings.
The Field House is an open-air dining space overlooking the hinterland and can accommodate up to 60 seated guests. Featuring an Argentinian BBQ, fire pit and alfresco kitchen, it's designed for intimate long-table dining experiences and smaller weddings.
For larger weddings, Mellow Field can accommodate up to 150 seated guests beneath a marquee or tent. Couples work with their planner and marquee supplier to create the reception space, giving flexibility over the layout and overall guest experience.
catering
For smaller weddings, Sun Ranch offers in-house catering with a range of menus for welcome dinners, wedding receptions, recovery brunches and casual events throughout your stay. Options include roaming canapés, family-style shared dining, Fire Feasts and recovery brunches, all prepared by the Sun Ranch culinary team. Catering includes service staff and, for events up to 50 guests, all plates, cutlery and glassware are provided by the venue.
For weddings of 50–150 guests, catering is provided by an external caterer. This gives couples the flexibility to create a dining experience that suits their wedding style and guest experience.

Sun Ranch is a fully licensed venue, so BYO alcohol is not permitted.
The venue offers professionally staffed beverage packages, with three package options available depending on your preferences and budget. Packages include premium Australian wines, local and international beers, signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, along with professional bar staff, glassware and a personalised wine tasting during the planning process.
Accommodation
